VS Engineering’s Fort Wayne Office is managed by Mark Herald, P.E. Mark has over 16 years of professional engineering experience and serves as Project Manager for the firm’s transportation and environmental projects. Mark has broad experience in Transportation Engineering, Civil/Site Design, Environmental Engineering, Construction Inspection, and Surveying. Mark excels in managing projects and staff during periods of schedule tightening to complete multiple tasks concurrently, with a keen eye to thoroughness and efficiency.
Formerly Engineering Technologies, Inc. (E-Tech) VS acquired the firm in 2012. A small, traditional civil engineering firm, E-Tech established a client base over the years as it dedicated itself to surveying, water/wastewater, transportation, construction management, and other civil engineering services for clients throughout the greater Allen County area, as well as throughout the State of Indiana.
VS’s continued commitment to quality, client-focused engineering services and relationships lives on in the experienced staff that are part of the Fort Wayne Office today. Services provided by this office includes:

Community
The VS Fort Wayne Office is dedicated to contributing to the community which we live. Most staff are long-time area residents and stakeholders with deep roots in the greater Allen County area. VS staff enjoy making Fort Wayne their home and being part of this growing and vibrant community.
As an office, VS has supported the Community Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Indiana and The Rescue Mission of Fort Wayne. The Fort Wayne Office is located near the campus of Purdue University Fort Wayne and has provided summer and school year internships for many Purdue Fort Wayne Civil Engineering students and looks forward to continuing these opportunities.
