VS utilizes only Registered Professional Engineers as Team Leaders for all NBIS Bridge Inspections. This ensures that technical specialists are on-site, rating each bridge thru the eyes of structural integrity for the motoring public. These same experts possess in-depth understanding of design aspects required when providing assessments and recommendations. The VS NBIS Team works hand-in-hand with each client in order to remain compliant with INDOT and FHWA standards. Customized reporting is our final deliverable to the County, compiled on individual needs – NOT a “one-size fits all” commentary. VS reporting for NBIS becomes a planning and budgeting tool for the county. Our philosophy is to not just inspect bridges and provide reports, but to help develop and maintain Bridge Asset Management Systems for our clients.
