ON CALL SURVEY SERVICES FOR WATER DISTRIBUTION PROJECTS
On Call Survey Services
VS provided on call surveying services for Citizens Energy Group (CEG) Water Distribution projects. VS provided a wide range of services for these projects, from deed research and topographic surveying to easement document preparation and construction staking.
VS completed over 180 separate projects to support CEG’s continuing upgrades to their water distribution system. Field crews are typically mobilized on-site within 2 or 3 days of receiving a project from CEG and sometimes even the same day. Project turnaround ranges anywhere from one or two days to a few weeks depending on the size of the project.
On Call Survey Tasks:
- Deed and right-of-way research and verification
- Establish horizontal project control tied to State Plane Coordinates
- Establish vertical project control tied to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988
- Topographic Survey
- Plot property and right-of-way lines
- Locate potholes to aid in determining utility conflicts
- Generate easement plats and descriptions
- Generate plan sheets for design
- Construction staking for new waterline construction, repair and relocations
