FORT WAYNE UTILITIES – WATER MAIN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS DESIGN
The Fort Wayne City Utilities retained VS to prepare final design and construction documents and construction administration for construction of several water main distribution proejcts within the City of Fort Wayne’s water distribution system. These projects were located throughout the City and were designed in order to expand the system or replace existing facilities.
The principal tasks performed for these projects were:
- Review of previous alignments and relavent designs
- Evaluation of location of proposed facilities
- Evaluation of construction and materials options
- Design of water main, hydrants, valves, fittings and all appurtenances
