VS Engineering’s Evansville Office is managed by Nick Jahn, P.E. Nick has over 15 years of professional engineering experience. He is responsible for design, quantities, construction cost estimates, specifications, construction clarifications and construction inspection for the firm’s engineering projects. Nick has designed and managed a variety of projects, ensuring that each one meets all requirements set forth by applicable funding agencies/programs. Nick has coordinated with the City of Evansville Departments, local utilities, regulatory agencies, funding agencies and planning commissions on past projects assuring that each meet all stated requirements.
The Evansville Office was established in 2012 with a staff of one based out of a home office. Since that time VS has experienced sustained growth and our Evansville staff is ready to move into a new location on Evansville’s Main Street. With a professional staff approaching 20 that consists of Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyor’s, Engineering Interns, Inspectors and Technicians we have the ability to provide all of our core services, turn-key, out of our Evansville office. The growth of our Evansville Office is founded in the trust that our clients have in knowing that each and every engagement is treated as though it is our most important, regardless of size.

Community
Our staff is engaged in a variety of organizations throughout SW Indiana whether it be through individual volunteerism or providing pro-bono professional services. These organizations include Boy Scouts of America, Water for People, Wessleman Woods Nature Preserve, Catholic Diocese of Evansville, Evansville Police Foundation and Keep Evansville Beautiful. In addition to supporting philanthropic organizations, VS has maintained an active role in the University of Southern Indiana’s College of Engineering. We routinely support capstone (senior) design projects which includes providing a project and serving as a mentor to students as they complete those projects. Additionally, VS has representation on the College’s Engineering Advisory Council.
